Positive Thinking Changed My Mind

sunlight

Do you think you’re stubborn? Do you think that no matter what people tell you, you’re going to march to the beat of your own drummer? Well, you’re probably a lot like my then and what I’m going to tell you now is something that ultimately, no matter what I say, you’re going to need to experience firsthand. Positing thinking [...]

Fighting Gambling Against All Odds

I started gambling when I was young (around 16).  I grew up around gambling. Family vacations were often centered around casinos and my parents would frequently take weekend getaways to the local casinos around the area where I grew up. My father had a weekly poker night that was completely sacrosanct and my mother often played online slots.  In short, gambling was never something that was seen as problematic in my family and in reality, neither of my parents had an actual gambling problem.  For years I was also able to control my gambling, until one day I couldn’t anymore.  I started small, mainly playing dice with my friends when I was in grade school.  Then I graduated to playing [...]

My First Success Story

I have gone though a lot in life and have seen the ugly face of adversity.  I know now that the power of positive thinking is the difference between life and death and I’d like to share my story with you. People that have made themselves winners

" Nothing seemed to help at the time; even though I kept my job, my apartment, my partner and was still going to college I was hopelessly miserable. Therapy, meds, church: nothing helped me make sense of life. One day I decided to seek another approach, to finally become a winner. Here I am, only months after my crisis thriving in life, so many goals and expectations but most importantly; I wake up eager to live each day to the fullest!"

"Finding MakeMeAWinner.com was merely a coincidence, a truly lucky one at that. It's shown me I needed to stop depending on others to finally take charge of the situations I was in and not conceive these as problems but opportunities for growth. I learned no one was going to "Make Me a Winner" per se but in the process I forged myself into a winner at life, leaving fear, pain and regrets behind- this time for good!"
